Really wanted to like it...
The Seego Smoking Dragon could be a very good value wax/shatter pen but it not for two serious design flaws. #1 The mouthpiece appears to be made from alluminum (female thread) screws onto the atomizer which appears to be made of stainless steel. With one being a relatively soft metal and the other significantly harder, the tight (sharp) thread pattern on the atomizer can cross-thread very easily. If the mouthpiece were to be made of the same material as the atomizer, I think this problem could be eliminated. #2 There is a "spacer", for lack of a better term between the battery and the atomizer. If you remove this spacer you can attached most vape cartridges. When using the pen in wax/shatter configuration, the battery contact on the atomizer extends through the spacer. Over time (a few weeks), on both of the Smoking Dragon units I own, the contact on the atomizer was no longer able to make contact with the battery. The result was, no contact, no atomization, no vape. My theory is this is caused by over tightening the atomizer or spacer. This pushes the contact on the battery into itself and eventually doesn't allow the two contacts to connect. I was able to correct this problem by using a bench grinder on the spacer and shortening it's length. The unit works fine now, but I'm not sure I would recommend as the threads on the spacer were a little difficult at first to screw onto the battery. On a side note, you should only need to tighten each piece to slight resistance. However, I have noticed that it is necessary to tighten the battery to the charger a little tighter to get the unit to recharge. I think this is where the problem with both my units occurred. If Seego could shorten the length of the spacer, problem solved.
