Big Pharma knows the future of vaping…and it’s terrified!

Mitch Zeller had a very successful career well before President Obama anointed him as the new Chief of the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products.  Before Zeller took on the task of implementing crushing FDA deeming regulations that threaten to wipe out the entire vaping industry within two years, he worked for GlaxoSmithKline, one of the most politically powerful Big Pharma companies on the planet and manufacturer of Nicorette Gum.

Over the years, Zeller has gotten very chummy with other elite members of Big Pharma, including those employed by the Johnson & Johnson Company.  This is the same company that incidentally happens to own the patents for “the patch,” that antiquated nicotine replacement delivery system that never seems to work but tricks smokers into buying it over and over again.

Because vaping technology is gaining in popularity as the most consistently successful smoking cessation aid ever invented, Zeller and his Big Pharma radicals would love nothing more than to see the vaping industry eradicated completely.

Why the FDA’s Mitch Zeller and Big Pharma want to see the vaping industry eradicated

Vaping as a stop smoking tool is only the beginning.  Pharmaceutical companies have known for decades that vaping is the most effective and expedient way to get many prescription medications into the blood stream.  The only problem has been the cost of the technology being too high for the average consumer.

And thanks to the recent boom in the global vaping industry over the past 10-years or so, that problem is now resolved. Vapes are more affordable that ever, some costing less than a carton of tobacco cigarettes.

But if vaping takes over as the preferred method for pharmaceuticals ingestion, Big Pharma stands to lose a great deal of money.  Remember, this is the industry that has no trouble charging $1000 a pill for medication that doesn’t even cure the ailment.  In many cases, that tiny pill only manages the symptoms.  And on an even smaller scale, vaping will make taking a Tylenol for a headache completely obsolete.

The cost of medications will plummet, just like vaping did with smoking.

It will be the very same scenario that vaping did to smoking cigarettes.  The average cost of a pack of cigarettes today is about $6 (in New York, it’s over double that amount).  If someone smokes a pack-per-day, they can easily spend roughly $2000 per year. But if they switch to vaping?  If a vaper spends $20 per week on e-liquid, then that $2000 drops to about 50%, and that is being conservative.  If you are a New Yorker, you just cut your tobacco bill to about 20% or less.

Vaping medications will be no different.  And Big Pharma is terrified!

In the eyes of people like Mitch Zeller and companies GlaxoSmithKline and Johnson & Johnson, Vaping must be destroyed, if only to keep millions of Americans sick and feeble so that Big Pharma can keep raking in huge profits from their prescription drugs.  If vaping lives, or heaven forbid, flourishes, then the American people will eventually learn that vaping their drugs provides a significantly higher quality of life.  And that is Big Pharma’s biggest fear.
